In 1998, “Walita Ao Vivo” offered to São Paulo a free admission outdoor concert presented by one of the most prestigious big bands in the world: Glenn Miller Orchestra, symbol of the golden years of jazz.

More than 70,000 people gathered at Ibirapuera Park, in São Paulo, in a harmonious festive mood, embarking on a journey driven by music.

The success of the presentation led the executives from Philips/Walita to invite the orchestra to celebrate its 80th anniversary in a private event held at A Hebraica club in São Paulo.
