One year after Fatima received the visit of Pope Francis, after the canonization of Francisco and Jacinta Marto, a moment that touched Portugal and the Christian world, besides sealing the celebrations of the Centenary of the Apparitions, the Italian tenor, one of the most appreciated artists in the whole world, visited Fatima and celebrated this moment with the pilgrims.
Andrea Bocelli was accompanied by French pianist Elizabeth Sombart and Ukrainian violinist Anastasiya Petryshak, under the musical direction of Carlo Bernini. The repertoire, composed of 11 themes, featured “Ave de Fátima”, performed by Andrea Bocelli’s guest, the Portuguese singer, Ana Moura, in one of the most beautiful moments of the recital.
