In order to restore the past and celebrate the present, an unforgettable concert made a mark, with great style, on IBM’s 85th anniversary in 2002. The performance created a parallel between the company’s 85-year history in the country and Brazilian popular music.

The fusion of São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro John Neschling and Mantiqueira Band, led by Nailor Azevedo (also known as Proveta), offered an impeccable and memorable performance to the audience, interpreting hits by Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Ary Barroso, Guinga, João Bosco and other great names.

“Two aspects stood out in our work with Dançar Marketing: the first was the desire to realize, to accomplish, to overcome challenges and obstacles. The second, undoubtedly, was the quality of the team we had the opportunity to work with. These two factors have strengthened IBM’s partnership with Dançar in the cultural marketing area.”

Mauro D’Angelo | Former Marketing Director of IBM Latin America
