Dançar Publishing was established to be responsible for the project Dançar magazine, the first Latin American periodical dedicated exclusively to the artistic genre.

Dançar group expands and creates Dançar Marketing Comunicações (Dancar Marketing Communications), a branch focused on the concept and realization of shows, tours, festivals, exhibitions and artistic presentations.

After Sport Brasil Blues

Project developed to promote the best of the blues made by Brazilian musicians. In addition to appreciating national artists, After Sport Brasil Blues also innovated by serving as a platform for the revelation of new musical style talents. The audience can enjoy the concerts of renamed artists like Nuno Mindelis, André Christovam, Frejat, Blues Etílicos and Big Allambik.

Concertos de Vinólia

First Open Air project developed by Dançar Marketing and who pioneered bringing the best orchestras in the world in free presentations all over Brazil. The project’s audience exceeded the mark of 3 million people.

Dupont Basic Sound

To celebrate Dupont’s 60th anniversary, Ray Charles, Baden Powell e Suzanne Vega, the most known names in the history of Jazz and Blues, premiered the concert series that offered the audience intimate sessions with true masters of music.

Amex live sound

Festival that mixed solidarity and the best shows in Brazil and the world. The B-52’s, Jethro Tull, Gilberto Gil, Ira!, Paralamas do Sucesso and Daúde, presenting the audience with memorable performances.

Avon Women In Concert

The project traveled throughout Brazil, impacting more than 2 million people with a regimented orchestra and composed only by women. Kiri Te Kanawa, Sarah Brightman, among other artists, were some of the special guests.

Viagem Nestlé
pela Literatura

A reference project in public education, the literary contest involved schools from all over Brazil, stimulating the habit of reading, reaching more than 500,000 students in Brazil.

Opening of Dançar’s international branch, focused especially on the connection with the biggest agencies and trends in the world of international entertainment.

 

IBM E-FESTIVAL

First musical contest of Brazilian history held 100% via Internet. The pioneering project revolutionized the platform that would later reveal important names.

85 Years IBM

An unforgettable concert marked in style IBM’s 85 years in Brazil, drawing a parallel between the company’s history in the country and Brazilian popular music. A fusion of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro John Neschling, and the Band Mantiqueira, led by Nailor Azevedo, also known as Proveta, interpreting classics by Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Ary Barroso, Guinga, João Bosco and other great names.

CREATION OF DANÇAR COMUNIDADE

 

The great involvement and social commitment of Dançar led the group to create Dançar Comunidade (Dançar Community), an institution dedicated to thinking and carrying out sustainable projects.

Riachuelo Mostra Moda

First exhibition held by Dançar Marketing, Riachuelo Mostra Moda (Riachuelo Fashion Show) drew a parallel of 100 years of the fashion industry in Brazil and in the world.

Consulting Services

In 2003, Dançar applied its know-how by offering consulting services in incentive law, in order to implement management and cultural projects for IBM, HSBC, Vale, Volkswagen, Roche and Nestlé.

Criação Teatral Volkswagen

Project that boosted the Brazilian artistic scene, giving the opportunity to new talents of the national theater to discover, to encourage, to improve and to help in their qualifications.

Jazz at Lincoln Center (NY)

One of the most prestigious venues in New York, Jazz at Lincoln Center was the stage chosen to host the concerts produced this year by Dançar Marketing for the Brazilian multinational Vale.

Vale Day at Carnegie Hall (NY)

Series of events held in famous New York locations, such as the Carnegie Hall, bringing to the United States exclusive performances by renowned Brazilian artists.

Orquestra HSBC

Innovative project led by Dançar Marketing, regimentation an orchestra and traveling all over Brazil with formidable performances.

Telefônica Open Jazz

Jazz is once again popular and take place in São Paulo’s leisure parks with Telefonica Open Jazz.

Viva a cultura! – since 2007

Bringing hope to children in cancer treatment, this is the mission of the project Viva a Cultura! Art workshops, theatrical and musical performances for children and family members give the tone of this project.

With the achievements and consolidation of Dançar Comunidade (Dançar Community), in 2008 the organization received the title of Institute, having more strength to develop the projects and to impact more lives.

HSBC Music Series

This project was series of international concerts with renowned artists such as Joss Stone, Seal, José Carreras, among others. It provided HSBC excellent opportunities for institutional and customer relationship actions, besides enhancing the connection between the sponsor and its target audience.

Diana Krall: DVD Live in Rio

By connecting Diana Krall with Rio de Janeiro, Dançar Marketing cooperated in the creative process of the artist and inspired her future album, transforming that tour into a DVD with recordings live in Rio.

Norah Jones Tour

More than 60,000 people sang and enjoyed the sunset with the sound of Norah Jones at Parque da Independência, in São Paulo. One of the most critically acclaimed and public spectacles held in the city.

2011

ANDREA BOCELLI IN BELO HORIZONTE: FIAT 35TH ANNIVERSARY

The Italian tenor was invited to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Fiat in Brazil. Over 200,000 people have been at Praça da Estação, in Belo Horizonte, for this free entrance epic concert. It was the highest-attended concert in his entire career.

Andrea Bocelli at Jockey Club São Paulo

A unique concert at the Christmas’ time, at the traditional and prestigious São Paulo Jockey Club. The location, which held a classic concert for the first time, was transformed into a grand opera arena, hosting Andrea Bocelli besides the Brazilian singer Sandy and the female quartet DIV4S, as special guest.

Best of Blues

Introduction of the largest Latin American Blues platform that besides bringing the greatest legends of the genre to the stages, also promotes exhibitions, movie sessions, master classes and street performances.

2014

Portal Dançar Magazine

On its 30th anniversary, Dançar Marketing started a thorough project of scanning and updating its rich collection. Besides, the company launched a digital platform to be the Brazilian dance channel of the 21st century.

Samsung Galaxy Best Of Blues

Sponsored by Samsung, the second edition of the festival proposes an interesting mix between the Root Blues and other popular styles, such as Soul, R&B and Rock. This edition brought great artists such as Buddy Guy, Joss Stone, Jeff Beck, Jonny Lang, Sky, Aloe Blacc, the funk-rock band Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, among others.

Samsung E-Festival Canção / Instrumental

Inspired by the concept of the great songs festivals, adapting it to the generation of interactivity and technology, Dançar Marketing created “Samsung E-Festival” that turned the web the platform to connect composers and singers.

Jimmy Hendrix

Introduction of the exhibition platform that brings to the country the most modern prestigious exhibitions of international pop culture. The first one brought “Hear My Train a Comin’: Hendrix hits London” presenting to the Brazilian public the most creative period of greatest guitarist of all time, the legend: Jimi Hendrix.

Samsung E-Festival Instrumental – since 2015

The “Samsung E-Festival Instrumental” has come to turns the web into the biggest stage of independent Brazilian music, boosting the career of new talents and creating sustainable pathways for them to live their dreams.

2016

Andrea Bocelli Tour

Besides bringing movie songs, the world’s most beloved tenor’ tour Andrea Bocelli’s in 2016 was also marked by one of the largest open air concert audience, being the first concert in the National Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida, with more than 100,000 spectators. Always ahead of its time, the innovative side of the tour is also shown by the choice of one of the venues, since it was the first classic concert, organized with sitting public, in the stadium of Allianz Parque.

Recital Beneficente Sala São Paulo

The Beneficent Recital at Sala São Paulo was an event marked by solidarity. The tenor Andrea Bocelli, the soprano Maria Aleida and the maestro Carlo Benini dedicated 100% of the event ticket sales to two charities: Hospital Santa Marcelina and GRAAC.

Best of Blues Open Air

Event held in one of the best known postcards of São Paulo, Auditório Ibirapuera. In 2016, the festival was planned to take place 3 times throughout the year, with the Warm-Up held in May, two indoor shows in different moments and an Open Air show in july with Richie Sambora and Orianthi.

2017

Samsung Rock Exhibition Nirvana

“Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses” presented the 2nd edition of the project, going to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The exhibition came to Brazil in 2017, the year of the 30th anniversary of the band that transformed the world of music and the year that Kurt Cobain was supposed to celebrate his 50th birthday.





Festival da Padroeira

Free entrance commemorative festival held at the National Shrine of Aparecida do Norte (SP) in celebration of the 300 year Jubilee of the Patron of Brazil. It was attended by several famous Brazilian artists as Alcione, Agnaldo Rayol, Daniel, Elba Ramalho, Chitãozinho e Xororó, Michel Teló, Preta GilPaula Fernandes and Father Fábio de Melo.

Joe Satriani

Invited by the Best of Blues Festival, Joe Satriani was in Brazil in 2017, in his last solo tour, referring to the album “Shockwave Supernova”, critical success and considered one of the best works of the guitarist, mainly due to the fact that the musician presents innovations that refer to Brazilian northeastern rhythms, as in the case of “On Peregrine Wings” and without forgetting basic elements of R & B as in “San Francisco Blue“.

Lorenzetti FLUI SP

In times where culture and environment are totally interconnected, the project FLUI SP comes up with the proposal to make art a communication tool for society’s awareness of water consumption. To endorse the cause, two great Brazilian musicians, Guilherme Arantes and Rodrigo Pitta, performed on the festival stage on December 2, 2017, at the Ibirapuera Park Event Arena.

2018

Diana Krall Tour 2018

Through Dançar Marketing, Diana Krall returned to Brazil in April 2018. The Canadian singer and pianist performed in Porto Alegre, Curitiba and São Paulo, continuing the support tour of the album “Turn Up The Quiet”, which features versions of classics recorded by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.

Andrea Bocelli in Fátima

In May 2018, in celebration of the centenary of Fatima, Dançar Marketing held a free entrance recital by Andrea Bocelli at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity in Fatima, Portugal, with the participation of the Portuguese singer Ana Moura, the French pianist Elizabeth Sombart, the Ukrainian violinist Anastasiya Petryshak, and the musical director Carlo Bernini.

Andrea Bocelli Tour

Bocelli’s biggest tour in Brazil took place in 2018, when the tenor performed for the first time in Porto Alegre and Brasilia, as well as singing twice in São Paulo, accompanied by the soprano Larisa Martínez, CARisMA Guitar Duo, the Heliopolis Youth Orchestra and Coral da Gente (choir) of the Baccarelli Institute, as well as the invited Brazilian artist, Maria Rita.
